The SIA Youth Scholarship is a non bond scholarship valid for only two years. So after completing A Levels, one has the opportunity to continue his university education wherever he wants. Some of the possible options are listed below.

This is probably the easiset, the safest and the most popular option for all scholars. Even a minimum of 4 B's with a pass in General Paper can ensure admission into one of the two Singapore uinversities: National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanayang Technological University (NTU). Both these universities are quite impressive and are ever rising in their standard. Moreover, if one gets good grades in the A Levels, he can easily get the SIA-NOL undergraduate scholarship to one of the two universities. For this, a scholar might not have to sit for any admission test or interview at all unlike those candidates who have completed their 12th from India. Apart from these two universities, there is another business and management university in Singapore, Singapore Mangament University (SMU). However, scholarships for this university may be hard to find.

A scholar also has the option to continue in India if somehow he does not like Singapore or is not able to do well. It may be quite difficult to do so because the syllabus covered in Singapore and India are different. It may be even more difficult if one wants to try for IIT. Still, if one is intelligent enough and also keen enough, proper coaching can help him. Moreover, the student will be coming back from Singapore in December and he would have some months to prepare before the IIT exam.

Besides the aforementioned options, a scholar also has the option to continue his education in other countries. It could be in one of the top universities of the world. The favourites remain the world class universities of the US and the UK. One may have to sit for some standardized tests, like SAT and TOEFL (Test of English as a foreign language) before applying to these unis. It may be quite difficult to get admission in these countries, especially in the premiere universities and may be even more harder to fund the education upon admission. However, it is still possible to fund the education from local (Singapore company) scholarships or from the university itself.
