This site has been developed and maintained by two SIA Scholars from the batch of 2004-2005. We have both gone through the process of applying for this scholarship and understand the difficulties involved. We constantly recieve numerous emails from prospective scholars for more information about this scholarship. We decided to put down our thoughts and insights about the SIA Youth Scholarship on a public web page for the benifit of students in India

Kanav Arora is from Panchkula (near Chandigarh), India. He is one of the awardees of this very highly prestigious and competitive scholarship. He completed his schooling from St. Johns High School, Chandigarh and secured 93.8% marks in CBSE Board Exams. After that, he received the SIA-Youth Scholarship and graduated from Anderson Junior College in 2006. He is pursuing Computer Science at University of California at Berkeley, California, USA. As of now, he is working on landing page optimization for Amazon.com in Seattle, Washington, USA

Vaibhav Goel is from Lucknow, India. He completed his schooling from St. Francis College, Lucknow and secured 96.6% marks in ICSE Board Exams. During his high school years, he was the recipient of the KVPY Scholarship ofered by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. After that, He received the SIA-Youth Scholarship and graduated from Anderson Junior College in 2006. Currently, he is studying Computer Science at Cornell University, NY, USA. Over the summer of 2007, he is interning with Morgan Stanley at their Global Headquarters in New York City, NY, USA.
